Backed by private equity firm, CataCap, AerFin is ready for further international expansion.

AerFin began operations in 2010 at the peak of the international debt crisis that gripped aircraft lessors, airlines and investors with the aim of drawing on the extensive technical and commercial knowledge within the team to maximise asset residual values in those difficult economic conditions.

AerFin has provided commercial, legal and technical consultancy projects for OEMs, Lessors, Investors and Airlines since inception on projects ranging from new engine selection for airlines, residual value analysis for Lessors to asset remarketing and disassembly for owners and investors.

Demand from our customers saw AerFin create a range of innovative and flexible programs to provide end of life programs for both aircraft and engines, resulting in AerFin establishing a new facility to manage in-house engine disassembly, storage and distribution of aviation inventory.

CataCap

In October 2019 private equity firm CataCap became the majority shareholder in AerFin Holdings Ltd. CataCap will strengthen the business and make it ready for further international expansion.
