About Us

Sustainability

We’re committed to making the aviation industry more sustainable

We operate in an industry that’s often – rightly – challenged on sustainability, and like our engine and airline partners, we’re taking steps to help reduce our impact on the planet. Our purpose is to breathe new life into aviation – in how we ethically do business, increase the efficiency of fleets and in how we maximise the operational life of aircraft parts. We:

Reduce: We assist airlines and lessors transition to more fuel-efficient fleets paving the way for a reduction in emissions.

Reuse: Reconditioning parts reduces the amount of new manufactured parts required to keep the world flying – saving precious natural resources.

Recycle: As a member of AFRA, we ensure that what can’t be reused is recycled or responsibly disposed of. Since 2010 we have recycled or put back into service 458 assets weighing 6,057 tons. That’s the equivalent weight of 24 Statues of Liberty or 1.4 Tokyo Towers.

We’re going above and beyond

As part of our commitment to ESG we’re working through key materiality topics, continuously improving our processes and are committed to reducing the carbon footprint of our operations.

Although we have no mandatory requirement to meet the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) we’re working with independent climate change experts and have developed our own ESG strategy that’s in line with our commercial strategy growth plans.

When you partner with AerFin, you can be confident we’re the partner of choice for sustainability, knowing we’re focused on the environment, ethical in our practices and giving the aviation supply chain a clearer, greener way ahead.
