AerFin, the aviation asset specialist that buys, sells, leases and repairs aircraft, engines and parts, has announced the successful acquisition of multiple engine sets of V2500 Life Limited Parts (LLP). This strategic purchase reinforces AerFin’s commitment to providing high-quality, cost-effective solutions to its global network of operators and maintenance providers, particularly those using the International Aero Engines (IAE) V2500 engines to power their Airbus A320 fleets.
The addition of these LLPs strengthens AerFin’s inventory within the narrowbody market, ensuring a continued, reliable supply of critical components. This move will directly support AerFin’s expanding A320 customer base, offering operators and MRO providers the materials they need to maintain fleet efficiency and minimise downtime.

James Bennett, Chief Commercial Officer, said: “With over 5,000 IAE V2500 engines in service globally, powering approximately 180 airlines, this LLP purchase programme exemplifies AerFin’s forward-thinking approach.
“By securing these materials, we are ensuring that our customers have access to the safety-critical components required to maintain their A320 fleets.
“Through our trusted capability to supply high-quality Used Serviceable Materials (USM), we empower operators to keep their fleets operating safely and economically for years to come.”
This acquisition underscores AerFin’s ongoing dedication to strengthening its position in the market as a reliable partner for operators, offering innovative solutions that help reduce maintenance costs and increase fleet performance.
As the demand for quality, sustainable materials continues to grow, AerFin remains at the forefront of the industry, providing operators with the resources they need to navigate the way ahead.
